Faculty Profile

Dave Long

     is the Senior Acquisitions Editor for Fiction with Bethany House Publishers where he’s worked with Deeanne Gist, Lisa Wingate, Athol Dickson, Kathryn Cushman, and a host of other fine authors. Before migrating to the editorial side of the company, he spent six years in the marketing department. He is also the author of two novels, one of which won a Christy Award.

 A graduate of Penn State, he now lives outside Minneapolis, Minnesota, with his wife and three daughters.

 He is currently seeking historical and historical romance, romantic suspense, women’s contemporary / “book club” fiction, crime and suspense novels, upper-teen fantasy, and literary fiction.
