Craig Bubeck

    Craig is Editorial Director for Wesleyan Publishing House (WPH), in Indianapolis, IN. He is also a published author and has served in various senior-level editorial roles for CBA industry publishers over the past 15 years, including Focus on the Family, Scripture Press, Victor Books, and David C. Cook. In addition, Craig is a teacher at heart—for nearly 20 years he has been a regular adjunct professor of English literature and rhetoric at several universities (currently Colorado Christian University). He has acquired broadly in Christian fiction and particularly non-fiction, and he specializes in theological and Bible study resources. (Currently, WPH does not publish fiction.)

Teaches

Motivational, even theological—taking our cue from Ecclesiastes 12, we engage the biblical challenge for what should drive the Christian writer, concluding with a rationale and practical  focusing upon the importance and reason for investing creatively in concept [particularly nonfiction in emphasis.

We look at the hard challenges of personal stories selling in the trade market, challenge writers to commit to the needs of their audience rather than merely telling their own stories, and then explore various practical strategies for incarnationally structuring their story so that it can be well received by various markets
